ABOUT
Jeff is a voice teacher and audition coach, as well as an actor, singer, musician, and coach based in New York City. Originally from New Jersey, Jeff received his BFA in Music Theatre from Elon University before hitting the road with the National Tour of Spring Awakening. Jeff has acted and sung in regionally throughout the US as well as all 5 NYC boroughs in dozens of venues. He particularly cherishes his frequent work with NYU Tisch’s Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program, where he helps the next crop of composers develop new, original musicals. Jeff received his Masters Degree from Teachers College, Columbia University and has since transitioned to being a full-time voice teacher and coach to 35+ students/wk.
Jeff can be found teaching voice to private students at Open Jar Studios in NYC, as well as CAP21/Molloy University Theatre Arts Program, Columbia University, Broadway Kids Auditions (BKA), Front-n-Center for Performing Arts, The Convent of the Sacred Heart, and more. Before developing his voice studio, Jeff was a frequent musical director (Flat Rock Playhouse, Arkansas Repertory Theatre, The St. Bart’s Players, The Play Group Theatre, Applause NYC), singer (Broadway Tonite Live!, The Bitter End NYC), and he co-hosts a beer drinking movie podcast (for ages 18+).
